The executor explains: "Because that is the way she wanted it. It was written in her Last Will & Testament that when she died, if she died quickly, that everyone was to be informed not of her death, but that she was merely ill ...and I was to observe who came to visit her. Her inheritance is to be divided among all those who came to visit her. It seems you and your wife are the only ones to have come."
Hank and Heather return home ...and are again at the drive-thru.
Hank laughs: "Seems sort of funny that we are at McDonalds. We can now afford steak. Tomorrow, I'm picking up that jet black Stingray ...and here we are ordering off the dollar menu."
Heather: "Well, it's good to see that wealth hasn't affected us too much."
Hank (to the young lady at the window): "Thank you very much."
Heather: "Aren't you going to check the order? Don't you want to check to see if they gave you relish ...what if they forgot your relish?"
Hank (laughs): "No, I've learned to relish whatever we get ...and trust it's what God intends us to have."
The following day, Hank's new car is to be delivered. When the doorbell rings, he just knows it's the dealership delivering his new car.
You can hear the surprise in Hank's voice as he opens the door, "Hey, I didn't order that cheap thing ...that's a Chevy Spark, I paid for a Stingray!"
Heather (putting her hand on his shoulder) laughing: "Remember, what you told me yesterday ...that you've learned to relish whatever we get ...and trust it's what God intends us to have! Well, if we can trust Him in the small things, shouldn't we also be able to trust Him in the much bigger things?"
